James Tyler Fisher Jr., 71, of Quinby, VA. died suddenly Tuesday morning, April 17th at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Onancock. In his younger years, Jim was an avid saltwater angler in Florida. Upon returning to Virginia, he worked on the water, crabbing: and was proud to be a licensed Waterman. He loved art, going to museums, reading about artists, and had an appreciation for antiques. He was a lifelong billiards player who could beat other players using just a broomstick. Jim enjoyed nature and living the quiet life. He is survived by his son, James Tyler Fisher III of Homer, Alaska; and his sister Kensett Teller of Williamsburg, VA.

Fox & James Funeral Home in Eastville is handling the arrangements, and a Memorial Service is planned for a later date.
