Patricia Barbosa Georgiana, 70, wife of the late Anthony Thomas Georgiana and a resident of Willis Wharf, VA, passed away on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. Born November 5, 1947 in Santa Clarita, CA, she was the daughter of the late Bernardo Vasquez Reyes and the late Socorro Barbosa Reyes. She was a former employee of the Northampton County Health Department, retired employee of the United States Postal Service, and proud owner of El Maguey Mexican Restaurant in Exmore, VA. She loved time spent playing cards with friends, Texas Hold'em Poker, and the one arm bandit. Pat was well known by all who frequented the restaurant, but she will be best remembered as a loving mother who valued her family above all else.
She is survived by three loving children, Athena Renee Booth and her fiancé, Matt Sexauer, of Belle Haven, VA, Roy Booth, III and his fiancé, Laura Jimenez, of Belle Haven, and Troy Booth and his wife, Debby, of Georgetown, DE; four sisters, Rebecca Hurd, Mary Mactaggart, Elizabeth Bergeron, and Diane Gavin; two brothers, Daniel Reyes and Robert Reyes; five grandchildren, Dillon Booth, Jasmine Renee Booth, Dereck Booth, Roy Booth, IV and Brendan Booth; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Richard Reyes, and a grandson, Anthony Booth Sexauer.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018, at 11:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with the Father Rogelio L. Abadano officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Haven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association, 870 Greenbrier Circle, Suite 404, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320.
